With warmer weather on the horizon, many of us are currently looking inwards to brave it through the remaining days of frigid temperatures, so now might serve as a good time to think about the representation of spring that’s to come and is synonymous with new beginnings.
If you’re feeling in need of regrowth and renewal, but don’t know where to begin to create that experience for yourself, there is a circle of women who gather monthly to support one another through the process.
Facilitated by Cara Bergman, owner of Blue Nest Acupuncture and Retreat Center in Eagle, Chester County, the current circle, which ends next month, is made up of 16 women who began meeting in October.
The next six-month circle begins in April. The two-hour sessions take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, so consider it a night out to focus on yourself and widen your community of friends.
“Each circle centers around a specific theme and includes time for us to share, connect, and be there for each other,” Bergman said. “The themes of the circle include ‘Cacao & Connections,’ ‘Setting Intentions,’ ‘Herbal Spa Night,’ ‘Emotional Alchemy,’ ‘Money Matters,’ ‘Authentic Relating Games,’ and we end with a closing circle.”
Setting intentions
The ‘Setting Intentions’ portion of the circle focuses on using the law of attraction and creating vision boards.
“For Herbal Spa Night, think herbal foot soaks, red light therapy, herbal tea, and more,” Bergman said.
“‘Emotional Alchemy’ centers on moving emotions through the body somatically.”
She added that the circle is “a space where tears, laughter, and heartfelt sharing all belong in the same night.”
Changing your mindset
A theme Bergman offers, called “Money Matters,” is about changing your mindset about money and clearing money blocks, plus practical tips for generating abundance.
The circle winds down with “Authentic Relating Games” and a closing circle. Bergman shared her goal for each six-month circle.
“I hope women experience genuine connection and a place where they can be deeply seen and heard – no matter what they are going through in life,” she said. “I want them to learn practices that support their nervous system, have fun, and feel deeply reminded that whatever they are moving through, they are not alone.”
Upcoming Blue Nest Women’s Circle
Begins Saturday, April 18, and meets once a month on Saturdays from 6 to 8 p.m. for six months. Bergman creates a meaningful space to share, feel inspired, learn, grow, and have fun while building friendships with other women. The circles are held on the new second floor of Blue Nest Acupuncture, referred to as Blue Nest Retreat Center.
