I don’t know why we bother having a Right on Red law in PA anymore. Practically every intersection now has a No Turn on Red sign. Intersections that have allowed right on red for decades now disallow it. The state could save money by just repealing the Right on Red law, so it wouldn’t have to make all those signs. It’s become a farce.

Nurse Alex Pretti brought a Sig Sauer P320 9mm pistol along with extra loaded magazines to protest ICE agents. The P320 had a round chambered, making it ready to fire. Very dangerous! P320s do not have a manual safety, making this a very dangerous situation. I had a concealed-carry permit for decades, and never concealed-carried ever. I would never carry a P320 with a round chambered unless I was ready to shoot something.
During the snowstorms of Jan. 17-18, North Coventry Road crews could routinely be seen plowing Laurelwood Rd. and surrounding streets, but completely disappeared during and after the storm last weekend. The southbound lane from River Road to Rt. 724 is still only partially open, i.e., 6-8 feet from the curb, impeding mail deliveries and trash pickups. The northbound side is slightly better but not significantly. What happened?
I read the bit in Sound Off about Trump being responsible for the Keim Street bridge project. You guys change your tune more than diapers on a baby. That project got underway due to the infrastructure bill you all complained about under Biden. Stop trying to rewrite history.

Canada’s Prime Minister Carney went to the World Economic Forum and talked tough about the USA and trade. Within a week, he came back home, and President Trump explained the facts of life to Carney. All of a sudden, Carney has done a 180 and is singing the praises of trade with the USA and Trump. Great to have a President who doesn’t take crap from Canada.

Real America, where do you shop for your groceries? Broadway in NYC? I haven’t seen the prices go up at the local store I shop at.
Missy Miss — Joe Frank is aware Trump arrested Maduro, but he left his regime in charge, even though Maria Machado had won the last election. Trump admits that’s partially due to the fact she won “his” Nobel Peace Prize, but changed nothing after she foolishly gifted it to him. He also opened a Qatari bank account for Venezuelan oil money, a move fraught with potential corruption. He claims it will protect the money from creditors.

Imagine being such an idiot that you spend your time protesting against a safer country.

Earth to Real America, how many times did Obama give his salary back to the USA taxpayers? ZERO. How many times did Trump give his salary back to the USA taxpayers? Every payday.

To the person of anonymity who wants Data Centers. Put it in your backyard. I just don’t want one in mine. Now that you had your say. Go for it. Knock yourself out, as the saying goes.

Kenneth Moreno Guzman was arrested in Georgia for viciously raping an 11-year-old girl at knifepoint in her home in front of her 10-year-old sister. You guessed it, Guzman was a 26-year-old illegal alien from Mexico. He is one of the Democrats’ beloved neighbors whom Democrats want to keep ICE from deporting.
NATO, of which we are a member, is arming Greenland! This is not because of something Greenland has done. It is because of how low we have sunk on the world stage. In one year, our unhinged leader has been playing war games and endangering our citizens and our military. World War?
Jay Miller
I agree with Dan Fields, $2.89 a gallon is not good enough. The prices of gas in Pottstown are higher than that. The oil companies are making billions of dollars. They can lower prices down to $2.00 a gallon and still make hundreds of millions of dollars.
Greg
Jay Miller, you posted nonsense on Jan. 23 that Trump was the only president to bomb 8 countries in one year (even Al Jazeera claims only 7). Obama dropped 25,000 bombs in 6 different countries in 2016 — Trump hasn’t come close to those numbers. FDR bombed way more than that in one year during World War II. Just go away with your nonsense.
Sam Tasik
The big advantage of a president who is rapidly and visibly losing his cognitive functions is that we don’t have to think of ways to justify his actions. Just invoke his genius and keep saying what a beautiful suit of clothes he’s wearing.

Ruthie, I’m at 3% from 2021. Oh, right, Biden was President. MAGA Doc, Sen Rick Scott, $4.8B Medicare fraud, and walked away “scot free.” SAG awards are people patting themselves on their own back. Harris and Waltz, Coach Tim turns out to be the more inept one. Make you wonder about the vetting process. Trump now has a concept of a framework for an agreement with NATO over Greenland. He only goes after the weak.
The Moderate
KYW Newsradio in Philly covered the Greenland invasion almost daily! Davos, Switzerland, Jan. 21 framework for Greenland security was agreed on with no invasion! As expected, that news is ignored! They did cover the power outage in Pottstown, and maybe, could be, sort of an ICE operation, maybe in Maine!
Just the facts!
The column in the Mercury by Robert Reich mentioned that he called for everyone to take to the streets to demonstrate. against ICE. If that were a Republican calling for that, they would be demanding his arrest for inciting a riot, and it would be correct, but nothing was mentioned about an arrest by the Democrats. Amazing Jay, how quiet Democrats can be when it favors them.
Nancy Lessig, the roads in our township were fine. No problem. Where do you live?

To run for the Senate, you need money donations. Guess where the money comes from? Votes tell the tale.
