It’s almost time for Punxsutawney Phil to make his annual weather prediction.
Groundhog Day is Monday, Feb. 2, when Pennsylvania’s famous forecasting groundhog emerges from his burrow on Gobbler’s Knob. As tradition holds, if he sees his shadow, we’re in store for six more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t, then an early spring is on the way.
If you don’t feel like braving the elements or large crowds to witness it yourself, you can still watch the festivities live from the comfort of your warm home. Livestreams are once again being provided by several organizations, including the Pennsylvania Tourism Office, and you’ll be able to watch one from this website.
Below are some of the other places where you can catch the festivities.

On TV
In addition to the online video feed available through its streaming platform (see livestreams above), the Pennsylvania Cable Network will broadcast the festivities on its television channel starting at 6 a.m.
If you’re only interested in Phil’s prediction and not the rest of the festivities, most Pennsylvania local television stations will also break in to cover it during their morning news broadcasts.
