Kate Nemic posted a team-high 15 points, including nine during a critical third quarter in which her team created just enough distance on the scoreboard, as Perk Valley kicked off the back half of its PAC Liberty schedule with another win. Megan King added a dozen points in the win and Hannah Evans also reached double figures with 10 points for the Vikings (13-3 overall, 6-0 Liberty). Gabby Russo and Scarlett Lee chipped in seven points apiece for PV, which will next take on Gwynedd Mercy Academy on Sunday afternoon in the Hoops for Hope Classic at Arcadia University.
Rhian Harper led all scorers with 24 points for Boyertown (5-11, 0-6), including 13 of her team’s 15 points in the first quarter. Chloe Engler’s seven points were next on the scoresheet for the Bears, who will reconvene on Tuesday night when they host Owen J. Roberts.
Pottsgrove 73, Chichester 6
Pottsgrove snapped a five-game losing streak in truly dominant fashion on Friday night as the Falcons jumped out to a 31-4 lead after one quarter and held their overmatched opponent scoreless in the second and third periods. Thelia Dellaquilla led five Pottsgrove players in double figures with 15 points, 11 of which came in the first quarter, and also added two rebounds and two assists. The Falcons also got solid production from Vivian Kyler (14 points, seven rebounds), Nyla’h Stubbs (13 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals), Kendra Ivory (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Layla Jelbaoui (10 points, five steals, four assists, two blocks). Pottsgrove improved to 6-10 overall and will be idle until Thursday when the team visits Frontier Division leader Upper Merion.

Darius Reid deposited a team-high 25 points to help Upper Perkiomen snap a four-game losing streak at home on Friday night. Aaron Maiden added 10 points and Grayson Sabo chipped in six for the Indians (5-12 overall), who will be back in action on Tuesday evening when they head to Pottstown for a PAC Frontier clash.
