Fans of 7 Brew coffee now have another location to visit in Berks County.
On Aug. 19, the nationwide drive-thru coffee franchise opened its second stand in Berks at 3045 N. Fifth Street Highway, Muhlenberg Township.
The county’s first location opened in October 2023 at the Spring Market Shopping Center, 3582 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring.
Both stands are owned by Exeter Township residents Travis and Cortney Odom, who are part of a large 7 Brew franchise owners group — Brew Team Group LLC.
The first 7 Brew opened in Arkansas in 2017, offering the franchise’s original seven coffee blends.
It’s drive-thru concept aims to serve premium coffee in record time, while cultivating kindness and joy with every drink, according to the 7 Brew website.
7 Brew serves espresso-based coffees, chillers, teas, 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas, comprising 20,000 unique drink combinations.
Customers don’t go inside to order — there is no indoor seating and no ordering window. Instead, employees take orders via iPad at the drive-thru.
The concept has proven to be wildly popular, enabling 7 Brew to operate 460 locations in 34 states, with plans to continue expanding.
“7 Brew is very grateful and excited to be opening our second location in Berks County and fifth within the state,” said Matt Peters, 7 Brew director of new stand openings for Brew Team Group. “During a giveback weekend at this location, we were able to raise over $7,100 for Helping Harvest and plan to continue supporting the community by helping organizations where we can.”

That donation benefits the nonprofit’s essential programs, including its Weekender Program for children, Maternal Health Initiative, and Community Kitchen meals, said Jay Worrall, Helping Harvest president.
“At Helping Harvest, we believe that ending hunger requires the entire community working together, and 7 Brew is showing up by using their business as a force for good,” Worrall said. “This collaboration demonstrates how local businesses can make a meaningful difference in addressing food insecurity.”
7 Brew’s pre-opening procedure also deployed a “Kindness Crew” to deliver thousands of coffees to local businesses.
“The purpose of the Kindness Crew is to come in, show the 7 Brew love and energy and culture to all the new employees, to help them do the same thing,” Peters said in June.
The new location includes a 510-square-foot coffee stand, with a generous layout for drive-thru queuing, Peters said.
“With over 80 employees hired for this location alone, we feel that we are setting this location up for ample success,” Peters said.
Peters noted 7 Brew has tentative plans to open two more Pennsylvania locations this year in State College and Collegeville.
He said plans are in the works for another 15 Pennsylvania locations throughout 2026.
