Presidents are not CEOs of family-owned businesses. They don’t “own” America. (How inconvenient!) Trump is a public employee, working for all Americans, not just those who voted for him. It isn’t his job to decide the culture of America. SCOTUS said Presidents couldn’t be prosecuted later if they acted illegally in their official duties. Trump believes that means he can’t be stopped at all from acting illegally. Congress, SCOTUS, and citizens need to slap him down.
The phrase “you can’t judge a book by its cover” is a common English idiom meaning you shouldn’t form opinions or judgments about someone solely based on their outward appearance. It’s a way of saying that things are not always what they seem, and one should look beyond superficialities to make accurate assessments. But this doesn’t apply to the Pottstown Trump protestors.
