Perkiomen Valley 60, Downingtown East 51
Will Stein posted a team-best 19 points and Perkiomen Valley won for the fifth time over its last six games, as the team now shifts focus to the upcoming PAC and district playoffs after a one-year absence. Chase Kelly deposited 16 points of his own in the triumph for the Vikings (15-7 overall), who will kick off their postseason run on Wednesday in a first-round PAC matchup at Spring-Ford.
Pottstown 64, Emmaus 56
Syncere Whitehurst’s 12 points led a balanced offensive attack as Pottstown claimed victory at Emmaus in the team’s regular season finale. Kam Robinson added 11 points, including a 7-for-9 showing at the foul line, while Yahsir Wood and Elias Butler each produced 10 points for the Trojans (11-11 overall). Pottstown claimed the sixth and final seed in the PAC playoffs and will begin its chase for a title on Thursday at Perk Valley.
Owen J. Roberts 63, Interboro 60 (2OT)
Danny Walker racked up a team-best 23 points to help OJR, which trailed for most of the game, steal one in double overtime at Interboro to close out the season. Elijah Wilson knocked down five 3-pointers in the second half for all of his 15 points and Gavin Winnick produced 14 points of his own in the victory for the Wildcats (7-15 overall).
Upper Merion 52, West Chester Rustin 49
Isaiah Robinson’s game-high 15 points helped lead Upper Merion to a hard-fought home win to end its season. Kylee Hill added 10 points in his final high school game for the Vikings (7-15 overall), who won six more games than they did a season ago.

Perkiomen Valley 63, Owen J. Roberts 56
Megan King led three Perkiomen Valley players in double figures with 15 points as the program put the finishing touches on another unbeaten PAC season. Scarlett Lee scored 11 of her 14 points in the first half and Kate Nemic added 10 points to the proceedings, with the Vikings (18-3 overall, 13-0 PAC, 10-0 Liberty) outscoring the visiting Wildcats 17-9 in the decisive final quarter. PV will once again be the top seed in the upcoming PAC playoffs, but before then the Vikings will play one final tune-up game on Monday at Council Rock South.
Maggie Thompson led all scorers with 26 points, 21 of which came in the first half. Kira Sorzano added 20 points for OJR (10-11, 5-8, 3-7), which won seven more games than a season ago.
Pope John Paul II 47, St. Hubert 40
Sophie Vigliotta connected on four triples for a game-high 20 points as PJP picked up a road win at St. Hubert in its regular season finale. Saydi Daye also reached double figures with 10 points for the Golden Panthers (13-8 overall), who will play one more non-league game on Monday against Executive Education Academy before shifting focus to the postseason.
Upper Merion 54, Council Rock North 40
Kennedy Coles scored a game-high 20 points to help Upper Merion enter the postseason on a high note, as the team won for the sixth time in its past seven games at Council Rock North. Levayda Fuqua added 10 points to the win and Gabby Callison chipped in nine for the Vikings (15-7 overall), who will be the No. 2 seed in the PAC playoffs. Their first game will come on Feb. 7 at Perkiomen Valley.

Battle of the Buck (Central Bucks West HS)
Owen J. Roberts enjoyed a very successful Saturday at Central Bucks West’s Battle of the Buck, which had been rescheduled from last weekend due to the snowstorm. The Wildcats finished in second place with 130.5 team points, just 23 points behind ultimate champion Neshaminy. Raylyn Schwoyer went 3-0 on the day at 142 pounds, including a technical fall win in the finals against Downingtown West’s Avery Dunn. Gianna Jones also advanced to the finals at 124 but lost via technical fall to Garnet Valley’s Neve O’Byrne.
Emma Englehardt captured third place at 130, Reilly Archibald nabbed fourth at 190 and both Mallie Nyce (118) and Stella Edmondson (155) secured sixth-place finishes on the day.
Upper Merion finished one place behind OJR on the day, accumulating 125 points. Madison Schulze made the finals at 100 pounds but was pinned by Neshaminy’s Mia Nesbitt. Ava Akacha captured third place at 136, while Emma Akacha (148), Julia Aquilani (155) and Elif Ozdemir (170) all finished fourth. Kyla Riley took fifth at 118 after pinning OJR’s Nyce in 3:29.
UM and OJR will face each other in a dual meet in Bucktown on Wednesday night.
