Whitney Downard’s article “Premiums for marketplace insurance expected to double” in The Mercury was a perfect example of how bad Obamacare really is. It truly is an unaffordable insurance program. The premiums will not double; they already have. Since its inception, premiums have increased by triple and quadruple. Congress isn’t impacting the cost; they are only arguing over who pays these outrageous premiums: Insurance customers or taxpayers. Eliminate socialism, eliminate Obamacare.

“Due Process” refers to the process due to you under the law. You aren’t “due” a jury trial for a parking ticket. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, signed into law by Bill Clinton, allows for “expedited removal” that does not require judicial review. Not every one of the millions here illegally is “due” a hearing before a judge before removal.

After reading The Mercury, there is no question in mind about how this country is in deep trouble. $915 million from four main unions toward the 2023-24 elections, amounting to 98.8 % to the Democrats. Mentioned was the fact that this money was taken from union dues that the workers have no control over, as to what their money is used for without their permission. 1.2 % to Republicans and 98.8% to Dems.
Yes, Anise, I am seeing lower prices when buying groceries. But a huge decline in diesel prices is very welcome as well for my business. I am getting diesel delivered for $3.51 a gallon now. And I buy my gasoline at Wawa in Pottstown or Sanatoga, with the price down to $2.95 at Sanatoga or $2.99 at High Street. Thank you, President Trump, for bringing down those prices!
