Pottstown used to be known for steel, tires, pies, etc. Now we are known for Section 8 housing, homelessness, crime and drugs. There is one bright spot, however. We have the market cornered on parking lots, and I would be willing to bet there will be more.

As unbelievable as this sounds, 81% of Somali families are receiving welfare in Minnesota. This is the state affairs in Democratic blue states. They welcome thousands of immigrants who have absolutely no skills, and then the taxpayers support them. It seems totally stupid to settle Somalis in Minnesota, the coldest it gets in Somalia is like 70 degrees in most of the country.

It’s good that Trump was elected President again, or Jay Miller and his crew would have nothing to talk about. I have never heard anyone with less to talk about who is worth considering. Please give some thought to what we had to look forward to with Biden, Clinton or Harris. Inflation is through the roof, but Trump is supposed to be responsible for not getting companies to cut their prices once they have risen.

Former Narberth physician Amy Cohen is serving an 11-to-23-month jail sentence for setting a fire in Lower Merion. A retired judge, Susan Peikes Gantman, testified in support of the parole of Cohen after she served only 5 months. Gantman said it wouldn’t benefit society for Cohen to serve more time. That isn’t the point. Cohen is being punished, and it serves as a deterrent for others.

There was no viable candidate placed on the ballot by either party. When unsure, people often select based on a perception known as the “lesser of two evils.” Hence, Trump won.
