Phoebe Berks in Lower Heidelberg Township, Berks County, ushered in the holiday season with its annual Grand Illumination, a two-night celebration held on Dec. 4 and 5, bringing together residents, staff and family members for music, fellowship and festive cheer.
The celebration began on Dec. 4 with a special pre-Illumination program, featuring live musical performances by the Phoebe Tappers, Piano Quartet and Phoebe Berks Choraleers.
Each ensemble is made up of talented residents from across the Phoebe Berks campus, showcasing the vibrant creativity and community spirit that define Phoebe life. Attendees enjoyed a variety of seasonal selections as they gathered to celebrate the start of the holidays together.
The festivities continued on Dec. 5 with the much-anticipated Grand Illumination, when the entire Phoebe Berks campus was illuminated in brilliant holiday lights.
Residents and guests enjoyed refreshments and additional musical entertainment as they took in the festive atmosphere. Featured songs included holiday favorites such as “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Come to the Manger” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” adding to the warmth and joy of the evening.
The Grand Illumination is a cherished tradition at Phoebe Berks. It’s an excellent opportunity to bring our community together, celebrate the talents of our residents and share in the joy of the season.
