Penn Entertainment Inc. has completed the rebranding of its online sports betting platform to “theScore Bet.”
Members were able to access the rebranded app Tuesday morning using their existing credentials following an overnight transition, the company said Tuesday. TheScore Bet platform is now live in 21 jurisdictions — following the launch of online sports betting in Missouri.
“We’re pleased to introduce theScore Bet to millions of fans across the U.S, and welcome new customers in Missouri,” Aaron LaBerge, chief technology officer and head of interactive at Penn Entertainment, said in a statement. “We look forward to creating the same fan connection with theScore Bet brand in the U.S. as we’ve done in Ontario and delivering players more of what they.”
TheScore Bet online sports betting app features wagering options, a suite of features and seamless navigation, the company said. It is integrated with theScore, a sports media app that offers updates, alerts, statistics and scores.
PENN’s online casino offering, Hollywood Casino, remains accessible within theScore Bet in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It is also available as a standalone app in those states, the company said.
The rebranding to theScore Bet followed the November announcement by the Wyomissing-based Penn Entertainment and ESPN that the two companies had mutually agreed to the early termination of their exclusive U.S. online sports betting agreement, effective Dec. 1.
The two companies announced the termination just over two years into an agreement that had an initial term of 10 years.
Under the terms of the agreement announced in August 2023, ESPN agreed to provide Penn with media, marketing services and the exclusive right to the ESPN BET trademark for online sports betting, in exchange for $150 million per year in cash payments to ESPN and warrants to purchase common stock of Penn, according to a press release.
The agreement gave either company the right to terminate the agreement after the third year if specific market share performance thresholds were not met.

On Monday, Penn Entertainment announced that the second hotel tower at M Resort Spa Casino Las Vegas was officially opened. The project was completed on budget and ahead of time, the company said.
The new tower nearly doubles the capacity of M Resort, bringing its total to 765 rooms and suites, Penn said in a release. The development includes a 15,000 square foot ballroom, bringing the property’s total indoor and outdoor conference and event space to more than 100,000 square feet.
“This growth project highlights the strength of our retail operation and our commitment to evolving the guest experience with best-in-class entertainment and hospitality options,” Jay Snowden, CEO and president of Penn Entertainment, said in a statement.
On Nov. 3, 2025, Penn received $150 million in funding from Berks-based Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc. at a 7.79% capitalization rate in connection with the project.
