Readers become leaders — and Pottstown needs both. I’ve read over 40 books a year because reading opened doors I never thought possible. Strong reading programs can do the same for our children, but teachers need more support to make it happen. Communities like Steubenville, Ohio, invested in literacy and saw remarkable results. Pottstown deserves that same vision for our kids and our future.

The PA Senate passed the Save Women’s Sports Act in May, and it’s supported by a majority of PA voters. However, allies of Governor Josh Shapiro (D) continue to block a vote on the Act in the Democrat-controlled PA House. Why? Shapiro will hurt his chance to be the Democratic nominee for President in 2028 if he allows this popular legislation to become law.

MAGA Mike Johnson won’t let the newly elected member of Congress be sworn in because she would be the 218th vote needed to release the Epstein Files. Boy oh boy, there is no end to the corruption in the Republican Party. The party of morality. Give me a break!
Stay Tuned!
I have to laugh at the comments by Jay Miller at times. On Tuesday, Sept. 23, once again, he showed his real character when he said the Supreme Court was wrong, which seems to say I, Jay Miller, know more than the Supreme Court. This is typical thinking of most Democrats.
The most entertaining things about Sound Off are the constant admonitions to write civil and fact-based comments on the issues–possibilities which are all precluded by the format, the venue, and the participants.

Another record high on Tuesday, Sept. 30, for the stock market. Trump has really got the economy going. Meanwhile, Democrats want to shut the government down. To avert a shutdown, Democrats want to spend $1.2 trillion in just 4 weeks. Thank goodness the Republicans aren’t agreeing to that.

We now have a Department of War! Isn’t that special? It sounds great until you see who’s leading it. The unhinged coward Donald Trump and Petey Hegsbeth are in charge and are doomed to failure. No administration has more unqualified people than TACO. Don’t forget RFK!
Lefty, Vote Smart and Stay Woke
To all those Democrats who love Jimmy Kimmel. Remember when Barack Obama and Michelle Obama called Bob Iger when they were unhappy with Rosanne Barr and got her fired? Rosanne is wondering why Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, etc., were so deathly quiet when she got fired. How about you Democrats crying for Kimmel? Were you quiet then?

Righty-Tighty, your post of Sept. 21 referred to me as a “left-wing reprobate” and challenged me to use my actual name. However, you used your pseudonym. Very hypocritical of you. You stated “screen names,” which is a misnomer. You meant pseudonym, but then that word, like reprobate, is not in your normal vocabulary. I have never written anything that could be described as vile. Though I will acknowledge sarcasm.

Looks like Trump is now getting his tan applied by MAACO. Jim Fitch, I have 3 dogs, and food never hits the floor.
The Moderate
No cure for stupid! Chuck Schumer, Jeffries the Dumbocrat sheep and their compatriots in the MSM defend Jimmy Kimmel’s “First Amendment rights! Kimmel is an employee who has no First Amendment rights. Kimmel worked for ABC, owned by Disney; they determine content for an employee! Affiliates revolted because of Kimmel’s mouth! Kimmel, like Colbert, was losing about $40 million a year! Disney made a business decision!
Just the facts!
Dot, the VAERS report only monitors but does not determine adverse vaccine effects. It publishes *unverified* info from the public. reported sicknesses and side effects can be coincidental or unrelated. I saw people in court for cripes’ sakes, sticking keys to their chests saying the vaccine had magnetized them! I’m sure all the conspiracy nuts were calling to report all kinds of crazy things, so that report proves nothing

Not that long ago, we would never have thought that we would have a President who declared, “If we have people that aren’t saying good things about me, we will yank their broadcast license”. So do they have to praise him every day to keep their license? Even North Korea’s leader doesn’t do that. He’s out of control. There have to be responsible Republicans who don’t agree with this.
We know MSM will publish most anything they’re paid to, and politicians will support most anything that their campaign contributors tell them to. But really, who is it that came up with and pushed for DEI, critical race theory, Trans acceptance, anti-white rhetoric, favor and support criminals, favor and support illegal immigrants, denigrate the constitution, hate Jewish people, etc.? Can we put faces on these people and see who they are?

Haiti has a higher murder rate than the city of Chicago. When Joe Biden was president, he issued a travel advisory warning American citizens not to go to Haiti. It would only be right for Donald Trump to issue a travel advisory warning Americans not to go to Chicago (or, for that matter, Baltimore, LA, Philadelphia, NYC, or every other Blue city).
The situation that most shows TACO Don to be a confused, aged, and inept Bozo is when he said that he was surprised that Jerome Powell was ever appointed. By Biden. When, actually, he is the one who appointed Powell in 2019. Of course, the Sound Off MAGAts just shrug this off. But you cannot shrug it off. It’s far too important.

Donald said he would drain the swamp, and he is, too bad he will flush himself away.

I FelixTorted said about fixed income and having a hard time with expenses and laying blame at Trump’s Ego. Where have you been for the past four years, when everything has gone up in price under Obama’s leadership, with Biden to follow? Once the prices go up, you can count on them never to return to where they were. Blame Obama and Biden, not Trump; this is not a political game, but Obama and Biden’s doing
Johnny Carson was on TV for 30 years doing late-night TV, and no one knew how he voted.
