I just looked at my IRA this morning. My account is now 6.2% higher than it was on July 2, 2024! Thank you, Trump and MAGA Republicans. Then I was thinking back to when IRAs were created. Who was president then? Oh, that’s right, Gerald Ford (Republican). My beautiful ROTH IRA was named after the Republican Senator Bill Roth, who pushed for them.

Well, it appears that Governor Tim Walz (D) of Minnesota was finally right about something. The guy he appointed to his administration killed two Democrats in a politically motivated attack. Walz said it was politically motivated, but Walz was implying that it was a Republican doing the killing. Turns out it was his guy killing 2 Democrats, probably because they didn’t support the governor.

A dollar doesn’t go very far anymore. You can’t get a very good parade for $45 million. Small crowd, many empty seats, a very poor speaker. 60% of Americans think it was a poor reason to spend that much for a birthday party, while cutting funding for veterans. Meanwhile, there were alternative events, attended by millions, not just in the U.S., but all around the world. They were very clear on what they thought about Trump.

I heard that military experts were afraid that the “bunker buster” bomb would not have enough mass to penetrate the Iranian nuclear facility. They proposed strapping Chris Christie and Whoopi Goldberg to the first two bombs for added mass, but then realized that the aircraft would be too heavy to get airborne.
