With all the damage done in the Biden years by allowing 20 million illegal aliens to waltz across the border, can you imagine where we would be had the Democrats remained in power, and this invasion continued unabated? Before the next election, America would have resembled California with its exorbitant taxes, rampant poverty, homelessness everywhere, lawlessness, and out-of-control prices — right where Democratic elites like Newsome, Harris, Obama and Mamdani want us.

LOL, the Good Trouble protests are getting big play in the Democrat media. No matter what the media claims, Trump’s policies are very popular and every poll shows that. The paid-for Good Trouble protests are the astroturf protests of 2025. What the Democrat troublemakers should do is spend their money developing policies that the majority of taxpayers support.
The article in the Mercury on July 21st highlighted yet another benefit of the Republicans’ Big, Beautiful Bill. Interest on car loans is now deductible for middle-class and lower-income taxpayers. Note: Local Reps. Houlahan and Dean voted against this tax break for you.

So Biden’s doc pleads the 5th? Guilty! But Trump did it 400+ times — strong leader! Got it. Biggs blames kids for being born poor. Stern sees conspiracies in stethoscopes. And Dot, Missy, Levengood & Co. still think Medicaid is for illegals and tax breaks trickle down. MAGAts worship a guy who jacked healthcare, botched COVID, and gave billionaires private jet write-offs. Keep crying “patriotism.” The only thing you’re defending is ignorance — and your own delusion.

An awesome week it was! President Trump wins again, court case after court case! $9,500,000,000 cut from foreign aid to countries that don’t like the U.S.! PBS, NPR funding cut, Big Bird looking for a new nest! Decertification of the NEA, National Educational Association, has begun! BBB includes school choice for states; not looking good for the NEA! Illegal criminal aliens deported! Pretty good week!
Just the facts!
To enlighten the low-information voters who think the electoral college favors low-population states, here is what the National Archives says about how electoral votes are allocated: “Electoral votes are allocated among the States based on the Census.” As for the popular vote, Trump won 49.8% of the vote and Harris had 48.3% of the vote, meaning that 51.7% of the country did not want Harris as president.

As Trump said, he likes the stupid, uneducated and those who follow him blindly. This time, I would say he is telling the truth. Add one more to the list. Lazy! If you would take the time to really check many sources and educate yourself, and were honest with yourself about what you learned, you would run away fast! Demand the client list in the Epstein Files, unredacted! He’s filth!

I agree with Butch in Saturday’s Sound Off. It is apparent that Democrats hate Americans … J6ers jailed in DC had disgusting conditions that they were subjected to for years, and no one did anything. Illegals complain about mosquitoes of all things, and the Dems are in an uproar about how unfavorable their conditions are. I hope legal voters remember everything the Dems have done to you … not only Biden but Obama now as well!

David M, I just find paying every month for news that’s 2-3 days old so I can read Arlo and scoff at those who believe the TACO when he contradicts himself in the same sentence is not worth it. I said most are not always wrong, not you. You have no idea what a Marxist or a moderate is. You benefited from Bush’s “no one gets left behind” school policy.
The Moderate
Trump: “big” announcement about arms sales (translation: profit) to NATO, several days after press reports. Putin has 50 days to kill more Ukrainians before Trump’s threat to go after Russia’s income comes due. He’s so concerned about the killing, so why wait 50 days? What happened to “ending the war in a day”? Heard anything from Trump about Netanyahu killing innocents in Gaza? BTW, “Jeffrey who?”; “O’Donnell … Threat to Humanity.” This is your President.
People who are losing healthcare will never forget the passing of the Big Beautiful Bill. Considering 90% of those people are illegal immigrants and don’t vote (or at least shouldn’t), nobody cares what they think or feel. That leaves the American citizenry to remember at voting time that not a single Democrat voted for America-First policies that restored prosperity for all Americans and provided the largest middle-class tax cut in our nation’s history.

The Epstein controversy is a trivial distraction from the real issues facing America — like Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship, what kind of sugar is in Coca-Cola, and turning the Cleveland Guardians and Washington Commanders back into the Indians and Redskins. Thank God for a president who helps us maintain a sense of perspective.

To Billy G — your July 14 grammar joke was delightful! thoroughly enjoyed it. But Jim Fitch can’t say the same for your yardstick “joke” that day. At the risk of appearing stupid, I didn’t even get it. But even if I had, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t funny. However, you did redeem yourself on the 17th, with your guess of the tattoo joke. Better step up your game, joke man!

Michael Stern, the increasing reliance on executive action by presidents reflects concerns about the effectiveness of the House of Representatives. These actions by Trump are not an effective way to govern. The lower court justices, through their injunctions, are urging Trump to reconsider his actions, but his ego prevents him from doing so. He believes he is infallible. Like a belligerent child, he does not work nor play well with others.

Tyrants view educated citizens as their enemy. Slaveholders stopped the slaves from learning to read. Nazis burned books, dictators banish the media. That’s why Taco Don is attacking the Department of Education, science and the arts. It’s fascism.

Chuck Schumer is going crazy, claiming that thousands of people will die because funding was cut for PBS, because they won’t be able to get accurate hurricane forecasts. I know, I know, the Cookie Monster always had the most reliable hurricane forecasts.
Billy G.
It’s hard to believe, but sometimes I sit quietly, at breakfast, listening to the conversation and think, ” Why am I not in a “mental Institution?” Then I think, “Maybe I already am”!
