Herbein + Co. Inc., a Berks County-based CPA advisory firm is relocating its Wilmington, Del. office. When the move is completed — by July 21 — the firm will occupy a 14,000-square-foot space in the Wells Fargo Tower. The new office is more than double Herbein’s current 6,000-square-foot Wilmington office.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to both our talented team members and our valued clients,” David W. Stonesifer, Herbein CEO, said in a statement. “The Wells Fargo Tower location not only provides us with a modern, collaborative workspace but also positions us in the heart of Delaware’s business district, creating exciting new opportunities for career growth and client engagement.”

Herbein first expanded into Delaware in October 2024 when it acquired Bumpers & Co., the company said. Herbein’s corporate headquarters is located in Spring Township, Berks County.
The new office at 2200 Concord Pike will provide advantages for both talent recruitment and retention, the company said in a Wednesday press release announcing the move. The space is located in Wilmington’s business corridor, and provides convenient access to I-95. The new office features modern amenities including an on-site self-service café and fitness center — benefits, the company said — that make it easier to attract top accounting and advisory talent in a competitive market.
Herbein’s Wilmington-based partners have expressed enthusiasm for the expansion and the opportunities it will create for both team development and client service.
“We’re seeing tremendous interest from professionals who want to be part of a growing firm in a dynamic location,” Herbein Partner Chadwick J. Milton, said in a statement, adding the amenities and location give the firm a recruiting advantage, “while providing our current team with enhanced professional development opportunities.”
“This strategic move represents more than a relocation — it’s a significant expansion that positions Herbein for continued growth in Delaware,” Herbein Partner Douglas S. Kook, said in a statement, adding the firm’s investment in the space demonstrates its “long-term commitment” to Delaware clients.
