On Tuesday, April 8, over 200 people died after a roof collapsed at the Jet Set Night Club in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dozens more suffered injuries. Lamestream media columnist Steve Roberts got it completely backwards in his March 31 column, “The Danger of Trump’s War on the Legal System.” The column should have been titled, “The Danger of the Legal System’s War on Trump,” and then addressed the question of how a president is supposed to govern if he first has to clear everything he does with 667 district judges! But that would require an impartial, investigative reporter, which Roberts is not.

A recent front-page story in The Mercury on health insurance claim denials was penned by Stateline.org, a part of States Newsroom, described as “an activist network of leftwing websites based in Washington, D.C., that feeds Americans propaganda pretending to be news.” States Newsroom was formed by The Hopewell Fund, a nonprofit controlled by the dark money group Arabella Advisors. Funders include the Soros Tides Foundation.

Netanyahu’s Israeli military killed 15 medics, then lied about it. They quickly buried them and their crushed vehicles, using bulldozers, so no one could investigate. Then they got caught in their lie. They said the ambulances had their headlights and emergency lights off, to avoid detection. Then a video came out, contradicting their lie. Now they’re “investigating.” Only one example of why Netanyahu was determined to be a war criminal by the World Court.
I have been overcharged so often that I am ready to change stores. The thing that keeps me going there, it is close to my home. When you notify them of the overcharge, they do refund your money. Problem: They don’t follow through in correcting the price. After notifying them numerous times of wrong pricing, they have not been corrected for weeks. Never been overcharged at the discount grocery store at Walmart Center.

A Rutgers University Survey and Study showed that 55% of Democrats say Trump’s murder would be justified. This study is confirmation of the violence and hate from the Democrat Party. The rhetoric from Democrat leaders continues to be over the top and they fail to condemn the violence against Tesla or even the Trump assassination attempts. Rutgers did not find similar Republican beliefs toward Democrat leaders.

The bumbling Biden administration instituted different fitness standards for men and women in the Army because they felt too many women were failing the Combat Fitness Test. This is the philosophy of equity: Lower the standards until everyone has an equal outcome. They also promoted people based on sex and race to meet their diversity quotas. Trump (skipping the ceremony repatriating the remains of 4 fallen American soldiers to US soil from Lithuania) instead began a long weekend in Florida on Thursday, attending the Saudi LIV golf tournament at his Doral golf course, and another tournament at his Jupiter golf course. The weekend included million-dollar per plate fundraisers at Mar-a-Lago as markets tumbled.

I was waiting for a comment asking how Republicans and Democrats would react to a similar Democrat mishandling of “sensitive” information. We already know! From Robert Malley to Joe Biden to Hillary Clinton, Democrats like Mark Warner said nothing. I bet most folks don’t even know Robert Malley passed classified information to Iran. Joe Biden stole classified information while in the Senate. Hillary got away with her personal email server.

Current capital reserve requirements on U.S. banks: 6-7%, depending on bank size/type. (Capital reserve requirement is intended to protect savers, FDIC, not banks.) Large banks saw approximately a 20% gain in profits in 2024. Current proposals, expected to be agreed to by Trump (who loves borrowing others’ money), would cut the “burdensome” capital requirement in half. Current profit margin for banks: approximately 25%. We need to MAGA, and save the poor banks!

We know from Obama that Islam is a peaceful religion, but there are some radical Muslims who are not peaceful.
